Sounds nice. It's a year older than me!
After nearly 20 years of searching, and damn near giving up, I finally found an early 110 .308 identical to my Grandpa's.
Serial # is 13,*** and is a Chicopee Falls, MA gun. The boss code is 11J, making it a 1958 manufacture date, just like Grandpa's, and just like Grandpa's, it also has an old Redfield 6X scope on it. This will be a whole new experience for me with a scope, as I've always used open sights.
If I could figure out how to post pictures, I would do so.

If that rifle has not been neglected, it should be a good shooter. Good luck with it. Send us a range report.
Ignore this post. Tried posting a picture of the 110, but it didn't work.
The pictures will have to be stored on an internet storage site. Im not sure but if you had a facebook account you might be able to upload it to that site, then copy and paste here.
The Dunning-Kruger effect is alive and well.
