Stevens 200 would be center feed with 4.4" action screw spacing.
So Iv decided to purchase a Stevens 200 in .308 but had some minor questions.
I'd want for my first upgrade to the gun to be a choate stock, but some confused was quickly stumbled upon.
1. what bolt spacing should I be looking for 4.2(4) or 4.40? Or does it not matter, and they make stocks for both?
2. Staggered vs center feed, which should I look for to be able to get a aftermarket stock. Or again is this a null topic due to them making stocks for both?
I probable miss-informed and they have stocks for all 4 possible variations, if so let me know. I just don't want to rush into a purchase and not be able to have my intended outcome and use. Feel free to pitch in anything that might be applicable to my purchase,
Thanks for reading.
