Welcome aboard
Hi, I have just made my first post, & probably should of posted this post first''I'm a disabled vet from the Vietnam War, I have been hunting & general shooting all of my life, I live in country Victoria Australia where I shoot long range from my place & ultra long range from my neighbor's place..We have Sambar & Red deer here & they often stroll on to my range.. As you can see I have a huge home range advantage, I did shoot for cash for a while selling the carcases, but I'm getting too old for that sort of work now... My freezer is always full.. I still hunt for a good trophy of either sort.. but it has to be good.. Hence a nice light carry rifle for in the bush up to 300 mts... I tune guns for other people, but they don't understand the advantages of Savage rifles so its no good trying to explain it to them.... Like being able to slip a bolt out of a 90's rifle into a early 60's action & have it fit...How good is that...Its great to be amongst like minded people...
