Welcome aboard
Greetings, all. I'm a new member living in Tennessee. My first gun was a Savage 220D in 20 gauge that was a Christmas present in 1963. My second gun was a 1959 Savage 110L in .270 that my dad bought used for my first deer hunt, in 1966. I still have both guns. In those days my dream gun was a Savage 24; I still hope to find one in .22 Mag/.20 gauge at a favorable price someday (I was never an admirer of the .410). Also someday I will buy a Savage 1907 in .32.
Right now I'm in the process of restoring another 1959 Savage 110L in .30-06 to be a companion for my .270. Yeah, I realize that if you have a .270 you don't need a .30-06, but I recently stumbled across this and couldn't resist.
I have other guns as well but because Savages got me started shooting I've always had an affection for them.
Cheers,
Whisper
