Can you use this stock on the new Stevens/Savage long actions?

Romans 10:9 "That if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
Thanks cowboyarcher,
I guess I will post here since it seems to be the correct forum. Anybody have a successful technique for dropping a long action current production action in a duramaxx stock? I am learning that it can be done but needs some modifications to make it work.
The B&C Duramaxx will fit. The problem I ran into is its for a staggered feed. The LA Stevens is a center feed and the mag box is way to small so you have to figure a way to keep it from moving around in the stock. You can bed it in or something like that. I took the easy way out and made it a single shot. It is a nice stock for the $$.
I guess that would apply to the savage 110 long actions as well? ???
It should, the Savage and Stevens would have been the same, within each of the 4 categories.

can the new centerfeed actions be converted back to stagger feed by using the old style mag box and follower
Not without some machine work. Even then I do not know if it's possible.

not to beat a dead horse but does this pretty much mean that if you do not have an older action that you do not have any options in the same price range and characteristics of the duramax
Nope, not without some mods. . . You see our frustrations now!

Yes I certainly do Thank you very much for your post, I am beginning to think that for what I am wanting to do that I will be better off with an older action rather than a new one. Your information was very helpful.
