How much does it need to move?
Long time reader, none time poster... I actually registered just to post this
So my daughter is growing, (both in shooting and real life) she needs her scope moved backwards to obtain better eye relief (she's finally using that 20x magnification). However, I've run into interfere on her Weaver scope. Anyone else experience this?

Without spending too much on new DIP mounts, has anyone reversed their forward cantilever mount to move their scope backwards? If so, was there an issue with the ejection port?

A DIP mount would solve your problem and give you plenty of adjustment.
EGW and DIP both make picatinney rails to replace your 2-piece scope mounts. The rail will let you reposition your rings as needed.

I was looking at both the EGW and the DIP rails, I was factoring cost in also. I'll probably be buying 2 more rifles this year. One piece rail may be the way to go. Thanks y'all
