I'd start with a good cleaning, .22's leave a lot of crud. If that's not the problem, try standard velocity ammo. I've found a lot of the older .22's don't like the HV stuff.
Hello all, I was wondering if feeding problems are a common issue with Savage model 6D Deluxe’s? I recently picked one up the other day but I quickly discovered that sometimes it failed to eject the spent brass and it causes the gun to jam. I’ve been shooting CCI .22LR “Mini-Mag” copper platelets hollow points and federal .22LR and it will fire some just fine for 4-5 shots then jam again. Does anyone have any idea what’s going wrong? Thanks in advance for any help.
