sort of.
mine is marked 10
my stock has the layout for 2 sling studs, yes 2(edited)
your pic is too dark to see details..yes it is a black on black rifle
my stock fore arm is wider than the basic plastic stock
Model 10fcp-sr maybe??
Does it use a mag? Is the barrel standard or fluted & threaded?
Model 10tr
std black/steel bbl no threads/no flutes
two for arm stud holes
center feed STEEL mag
the bolt shown above it correct
emblem on the base of the grip
Does it have an H-S Precision stock on it.
10 FP
The Dunning-Kruger effect is alive and well.
I’m stumped Mike?? Have you tried searching the serial number? Or call Savage with the number? Maybe they can tell you?
Yeah, I was thinking that Robin... the FP-HS. But don’t think it has the the Indian logo on the bottom of the pistol grip.
And the FP-HS has the standard large head bolt knob..but that could have been changed easy enough.
no
a more conventional slight swept back grip
i guess i will have to call tomorrow.
Yeah, that’s why I didn’t ask about it. No “mistaking” the the FP-HS or FCP McMillan.
so the answer is:
a 10t
cabela's special
5r rifling 1/10
an in-house stock but yes heavier than a normal light weight polymer stock
as to the date serial is k210xxx came out in mar of 2016
Ahhh yes! The 10t-sr. I was thinking it was gonna end up being one of the exclusives. Decent gun.
The Dunning-Kruger effect is alive and well.
Yes you’re correct. The 10tr & 10t-sr came after the Cabelas’ exclusive 10T. I believe it is an accustock though. Any info you can find on it lists the 10t as having Accustock.
It does. I use too have one in 308. 10-T with an Athlon Argos, Wicked accurate with a 168gn smk.

well i have not had it apart,
but
savage said it did NOT have an accustock
i hate the stupid bolt release hide the take down bolt design
The bottom bolt release and the aluminum chassis says it has an Accu-stock.
The normal Savage plastic factory stock doesn't have an aluminum chassis and has a top bolt release.
