Nothing wrong with the .204 Ruger, you just need a 1-9" barrel. The factory 1-12" were persnickety about 39-40 gr bullets, but a 1-9" will shoot any weight.
I am thinking of doing a 20 Cal. Can't decide which one. The Mod 11 That I have started life as a 204R. I could not get that barrel to shoot well. 204 would be the most dtraight forward. But I worry about my previous experience. 20 P. Sounds interesting, 20 vartatarg has rave reviews. Would appreciate feed back.8 by

I built a 20 prac. from a model 11. Criterion 22" heavy sporter 11 twist.
Shoots better than I can!
20 practical is the way to go.
cheaper brass and lots of it
easy to load
very accurate
