I would have to go with my browning abolts( 300win and 338win) or my Sako M-995 (30-378). The sako is so smooth and brownings have the 60 degree bolt throw and they all shoot really good.
What is your favorite non savage rifle? heres mine, Howa 1500 in 204 ruger purchased as heavy barreled action, B/C medalist, timney trigger tuned to 12 oz Vx 3 8.5x25 with varmint hunters reticle, glass bedded. shoots lights out with 39 grain blitzkings.

There are rifles out there that aren't savage? ;D I'd have to split this one between bolt and semi-auto. Outside the savage my fav bolt gun would have to be the Swiss K-31's. For a semi I'd have to go for the old M1 Garand. Love that thing. Bang x 8!! PING!!
I didn't know there was such a thing. :D
111 views and only one has a non savage favorite rifle? thats hard to believe.
MR7 25-06. Springfield M1 Garand. Marlin bolt action 22 "Glenfield" my first rifle.

Mine is my Remington 700 LH LSS in 338RUM. It was a present to myself when I passed the Professional Engineers exam.
With 225g accubonds it shoots a single hole with a moderate charge of H1000.

Mine would be a toss up between my Federal Ordnance M1A and my Remington XP 100 converted into a rifle.
Oz never gave nothing to the Tin Man, that he didn't already have.
Only non-Savage rifle I own, so it wins.
Browning A-Bolt Medallion in 270 Win. It was my 10th anniversary gift. Got a few deer under its belt in the 8 seasons I've carried it.
760 Crossman Pump
Lets see, a Mark X in 22-6mm with a highly figured walnut thumbhole stock and a beast of a barrel, or my mod 70 stealth II in 243 wssm
The left handed Model 70 in 375 H&H at the top of this picture. A close second is the left handed Montana Rifle Co-actioned 6.5x284 that is on the far right of the photo.
If you can't tell, I'm a lefty.

Have Three that i really like:
My Win 52D
My 03 Springfield Match Rifle
And my 336 Marlin leaver gun
My two favorite right now, 338 Edge repeater on a Lawton 7000 action flute 30" 9.4 tw Rockcreek, DE Brake and Manners MCST stock. It now wears a Sightron 8-32x56LR.
The second is a blue printed 700 SA 260 REM 23" flute #3 Broughton 8tw, fluted bolt and custom camo HS Sporter stock. It has a Weaver V16 on it but am saving for something else.
Third would be a stock CZ452 American that out shoots everything i own, even my Savage.
.300 Lapua Magnum on a Remington action that Greg Tan Rifles built, nicknamed The Laser-Beam. 210 JLK at over 3200 fps. Under 8 inch group at just over a mile. 34 inch Lilja custom taper barrel.
Nothing fancy, but a ton of fun to shoot. Marlin XLR .444 Marlin
I couldn't decide between these two, my Shiloh Sharps 45-70 and Springfield Armory NM M1A. All groups fired at 100 yards...
The M1As favorite load
M1 Carbine quality hardware receiver with rockola barrel. a patch work build but a shooter aka grown ups 22

As far as rifles go there is only Savage

My Marlin Guide Gun in .45-70.
My Finnish M28/76. It is a semi-relic with a receiver dated 1906. That rifle can f-in shoot. It likes Sierra .308 175 Mk's on top of 4895. Tried the 200 Mk's, it reminded me real fast how hard those things can really kick. The diopter sights are a hoot too. I think I like them better than scopes. I like my PSL too. And my other Nagants, oh, and my Marlin 917v, and my...(have so many). I don't think I really have a favorite, I love them all. But the Finn has to be the top- Non Savage.
p.s.- I think I have the most fun with my slingshot. Can't hit crap with it but it is fun.
I only own one non-Savage centerfire. Its a 95% condition, 1960 made, Remington 742 Woodsmaster in 30-06. Checkerd Steel butt-plate, light weight, and kicks like a mule. Still wears the original Weaver K2.5 in Weaver mounts. Sounds nice, but horrible trigger, and I have never gotten better than "minute of broad side of a barn" with it. It was my first centerfire rifle and will always be kinda special because it got me started, and somehow made it through my late-teens and early-twenties without hardly a scratch before I just put it up.
As far as rimfire goes, i would say my Mossberg 144-LS with original Lyman Peep Sights and my Remington 510 Target Master are closely tied. Both have been 1/2 MOA with decent ammo.
