You can see 6mm holes at 400 with one of the new scopes from LOW. Athlon Cronus BTR etc. We were just talking today about needing a lot more light to see these days.
i am currently shooting 100,200 and 300yd target, mainly paper, 24x is not quite doing what i am after at 200yds, i put one of my Sightron SIII 8x32x56 much better, so i am after another scope with just a bit more power, the only thing i see out there i see would be is the 10x50x60 SIII or the NF 12x42. any comments on either, i am hearing the SIII gets a little dark after 40x, back 10-15yrs ago seems like the 24x was fine, not cutting it anymore.
