Been working on a 110e .270 Winchester. It has a new walnut Boyd's stock and metal triger guard replacing the plastic one,as well as a new 25" barrel on the way from x-caliber.

I have notive that that there seems to be a lack of interest in this caliber? Thought about going .280 or something similar but decided to stay with .270 since I am set up to reload already and didn't want the need to buy a bunch of new stuff. Not sure I made the right decision but it's made for now.

i have been reading a lot about bedding the stock, and I am a bit hesitant to try my self, but think this will be the next needed step to finish out my build for a 600 yard mule deer riffle?
