I never heard any response to my question, so I thought I'd bump this for another try.
Thanks for any input.

I've searched high and low for a source for replacement springs for my .32 Savage. Nothing turns up.
I've got one original mag that has a very poor spring (some aftermarket thing) that I acquired some time ago.
Does anyone have a lead on a replacement spring that would work? It doesn't have to be original, since those are just not around.
It just has to work.
Thanks for any input

Have you tried Wolff springs?
Savage- "never say never".
Yes. Wolff does not make such a spring.
I didn't ask them what it would take to custom make one, or even if they would.
I also spoke to another vendor who makes replacement magazines if I could purchase one of their springs and was told that they only market the whole magazine.
I may have to buy one of these aftermarket magazines to cannibalize the spring.
Leego,
I would love to have a link to that page or Wolff's SKU for the part you're referring to. I just went back and tried to find MAGAZINE springs for this pistol (which is what I've been looking for).
I can only find their recoil spring pak for 1907/1910 pistols. The SKU for that is 24535.
If you have the specifics for Wolff's magazine spring, I'd appreciate it!

75923??
Savage- "never say never".
Mad Dog,
Thanks for your help. I've seen that SKU before and hesitated because it describes these springs for a "single stack" and the 1907 pistol is a double stack magazine. It is possible, and perhaps likely, these springs would work. I just haven't pulled the string on these to test them on my grandad's mags. $7.50 plus shipping to buy a spring I might never use also made me think twice. I will probably try one of these eventually.
Thanks again.
