AFAIK the difference between the 110 and 12 bolts is the rear Philips screw vs hex.
I had to send my rifle (.223 F/TR with target AccuTrigger) back to Savage. No complaints there. It is now past time to clean the bolt. I had been able to disassemble the bolt until now. That first step rear screw removal ain't happening no matter what I try. It seems frozen in. Any suggestions other than the You-Tube recommended impact wrench?

Thank you. That is exactly what will be tried this evening after work.
I actually watched a youtube video of a guy standing on the allen wrench to break that bolt loose. That's what I did and it worked. There will be a loud "CRACK!" when it breaks. Thereafter it is easier to get off/on.
You can decock the bolt and it should release some of the tension on the BAS. I just jumped on mine and it finally gave up.
Stepped on it and "pop"
BTW- rather than take a chance on having the wrong end of the Allen wrench gouge a hole in my carpet and living out my days living above my daughter's garage in solitude, I placed the assembly on a piece of thick plywood and stomped on it.
Thanks for the help.
Glad you got'r dun.
