Depends what your loading for. Tried it on 308. It was ok but varget worked better for my. What rifle do you plan on loading with this?
Just picked up a lb of 4166 to try. The label lists it as good for just about anything from 204 to 3006. Have any of you had good results with it? If so what caliber were you using it in?

I have 204R, 223 Rem 308 Win for starters.
Give it a try and see how it works. 4166 cost more than varget. Hodgdon was pushing the new powders as better. Does seem cleaner burning.
I use it in my 260. I get about the same velocity as H4350 but with .5 grain of powder lighter than H4350.
They who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.
I tried it in my 243-270-257Rob-308-300sav, I won't buy it again !!!!
You didn’t get the word? Because of global warming, winter is now year round!
