I recently acquired an early manufacture lefty "110-L" in .243. It is s/n 519xx. It is in such good condition, I was at first surprised to see the early style barrel nut. My preliminary searches reveal a date of manufacture range of 1958-1963. Anyone have a more accurate idea of how old this is?

Ok, thank you. I also realized that there is a specific sub forum for date of manufacture requests. I am sorry if I was out of line posting in the general forum. I will see if I can locate the date code.
Thanks again.
The code is 11R. R is 1964. 11 would that mean the month of November?
No, the number has nothing to do with the date. IIRC it's the assembler/inspector's number.
