Is it a long action or short action stock?
Should be pretty easy to rule out the .300 WIN Mag if it is from your short action.
Greetings shooters and enthusiasts!
I recently removed the accustock off my Savage Model 10 Predator Hunter in .243 Winchester. I sold this stock to someone and they messaged me this evening saying that he is attempting to place a savage model 10 in .308 into the stock.
He is telling me that the sticker in the accustock has a # of 108530C. When he looks this up he says it references a model 111 in 300 winmag.
Does anyone have any knowledge of how this could be?
i bought the rifle brand new and that is the original stock.
Thanks!

"They couldn't hit an elephant at this distance." Last words of Gen. Sedgwik
It's the original plastic accustock .243 (SA)
They may need a different recoil lug.
Yeah. The recoil lug is different on the Accustock models. It's slimmer on the sides.
Some guys have ground their lugs to fit
Does it fit his rifle?
What is the measurements of the action screws?
May be an error (wrong "sticker").
I think the guys posting about the recoil lug are on the right track.....he mentioned it was too shallow.
Action screws are 4.40"
Recoil lug hitting the sides of the accustock. 110% his problem, not yours.
