I think I got it.
The front edge of the brass was hitting the magazine.
I took the magazine out and used a dremel to take a little off. Probably less than 1/16".
Now I need to go to the range.
I have a cabelas 12fv that came in .22-250. I installed a .450 bushmaster barrel and that worked out fine.
Sometimes the rounds don't feed into the chamber. They go low. How do you adjust for this? I saw a .450 bushmaster follower on ebay would that help? Before I try to reinvent the wheel I thought someone could share what they know.
Thanks.

Keep us posted
There is still a problem.
The front of the magazine moves up and down.
Maybe a little epoxy will hold it in place.
The gun shoots very well.
The barrel is a 17.5" bison gun works. I'm very happy with the barrel.
I will keep at this till it works.
