I use a Nikon BDC scope. It works very well. Could also be any change in magnification will change your drops on the reticle.
Hello - I tried sighting in my savage 220 with 2 3/4 accutips and a leupold ultimate 3-9x scope this weekend. I'm dead on at 100 yards and followed the instructions for the ballistic drop markers using the 2 dots (for 2 pellets and 20ga). I found the various holds weren't even close for 150 and 200 yards as I was shooting very low. Has anyone else had this problem with this set up? I'm wondering what I should do now as I was hoping this scope would work for my setup.

The smartest thing to do would be to first know what your actual drops are at the distances you want so you can use that information to find a ballistic reticle that closely matches your real world drops.

From what I've found and read, the Ultimate Slam 2 pellet setting is for 1890fps and my accutips are about 1775fps. I think I need to try lowering the magnification or just shoot use my main crosshair and figure out the drops. I wish Leupold had an app like Nikon's Spot On.
