Anyone tried this 3031 with like 80-85 grain bollets in the 223 ...Be my first time as far as I can remember..

The Dunning-Kruger effect is alive and well.
I got great accuracy and good enough speed with 80 JLK's in an 8-twist barrel to get to 1,000 yards. I won a 600 yard match with them, shooting IMR 3031. The first strings were 99 & 100, but the second strings were 96 & 92. That may have been me wearing out, since I've subsequently had to give up F-class due to spine problems. BTW, I was using 2.42" or so for OAL, and loading with a lot more powder than the manual number in the post above. I had no pressure signs, and the heat index on those days was in the high 90's.
