Awesome. Thanks for the report.
Just wanted to give a range report on the new Savage 12FV in 6.5 Creedmoor. The gun is a Cabelas exclusive that is currently on sale for 369.99. The gun has been around for awhile, but Cabelas just started selling it in 6.5 Creedmoor. It comes with a 26 inch heavy barrel and it has a jeweled stainless bolt with a blind mag, regular stock, accutrigger, and is a top bolt release. I picked one up for my 15 year old daughter for a hunt next month, mounted a Vortex scope on it and headed to the range with a box of Barnes new 127 grain LRX factory ammo. Shot several 3 shot groups and they all ranged from 1/4 to 5/8 inch at 100 yards, with most of the first two shot cutting the same hole. What a nice affordable, accurate rifle...thought I'd pass it on.
Awesome. Thanks for the report.
The Dunning-Kruger effect is alive and well.
I just purchased that rifle in 22/250, thanks for the review. That price is hard to resist.
I think the secret's out! Nice shooting!
Just stretched it out to 200 yards today, 3 shot groups between 3/4 - 1 1/4...not bad.
Looks like the sale just ended. Still a great deal at $419.
I got one today for $353.95 out the door
There's also a $100 mail in rebate on this rifle still going on I believe. I have a post up in this forum about mine and how it shoots so far of anyone is interested.
Just ordered 1 also. I figured mine is about $250 after rebate if it arrives in time. A very good deal IMO. That's cheaper than an Axis and a lot more rifle.
Picked mine up in .308 on the 7th for $448.34 out the door with a $100 rebate coming soon. Hope mine shoots that well!
Yep....Another happy customer...Solid Shooters.
