I, for one, can't wait. I have always liked the stocks but don't like the platforms that they are made to fit.

Just a heads up for the people that dont know. AI plans to make their stock to fit our Savage actions. I have been in contact with a guy on the hide. They are expected to be here in the 3rd qtr of this year. Earliest i hear is late Aug.
I see this as a very good option for the Savage shooters

Very interesting indeed, AI Mag's cost $80 and look just like what comes with my BAS/K rifle only are by a different company http://www.accurate-mag.com/Home_Page.html and are some what less money just checked their web site and it's being worked on so couldn't get price
These stocks are out now.The only savage action they will fit is the 4.400 center feed so all of us with the older action are s.o.l......I know of a company that builds a chasis that uses ai skins and aics mags. Here it is...albertatacticalrifle.com this stock will fit the staggered feed 4.275 or centerfeed 4.400
Where did you see that these are out now?
Thanks.
brilliant
i'd love the ACIS with a savage.
do they do the sleeves in a left hander ??
I emailed Alberta Tactical about their stocks... apparently what they have now is the last of what they'll be making. Sounds like they got a cease-n-desist notice from AI now that they got off their duff to support Savage rifles.
Kind of a shame, as AT was still filling a niche (4.275" actions) that AI doesn't.
shot show 2010....I guess now that i check they arent available yet.Originally Posted by johnsopa
I still think they will only fit the center feed (4.400)action though. If im wrong please enlighten me.I have the older 4.275 action and would love to have a aics.
What I'd like is to get one of the LRPV repeater actions (RBRP) with a .473 bolt head + an AICS 2.0 action + 22" fluted varmint barrel in .308 Winchester... that'd be all kinds of fun
