They've been on golf balls forever. I know they been incorporated in to wheels, helmets and jerseys for elite cyclists. Any reason someone hasn't tried to incorporate them into a bullet to increase efficiency of flight?

For supersonic flight, the tail angle is king, then the ogive. Meplate and bearing surface is almost irrelevant, despite the garbage "Just the tip" line given by a certain bullet company....
