Call Protektor they have bags with stiching between the ears that work great for that stock. Tell them what gun you need a bag for they will hook you up.

Been struggling with the way my 12 F class stock rides an ordinary BR rear bag with ears.
Is the flat wedge shaped bottom of the stock intended for a specific style of rear bag? I have all but given up on using a traditional style of rear bag and am about to put a wood rasp to the stock if I don't learn something quickly.

I had Protektor make me a bag for my F Class 6mm. 7 days from the time I sent my check until it arrived. Great service.
5 lines of stitching 1" wide, cordura ears, gun rides great in it. $112.75 filled and delivered. The price was from a couple of years ago.
exactly how I did mine. Great people to deal with.Originally Posted by Pa Hog

Thanks for the tips folks. Checked out the Protektor site and will call them about shipping to Canada.
Curious though as to why Savage made the stock with a taper. If the rifle is tight in the rear bag before the shot, doesn't the stock bind in the bag as it slides backwards under recoil?
