I use 53 gr vmax with 8208 xbr no exit holes
Just got my 22", 1:9 twist Savage 110 Predator Hunter Max 1 in .223Rem and I'm wondering about what the most accurate varmint recipie load others have found is. (I know every gun has its own preference, but I'm new to reloading and would love to find a "starting point" based on others' experiences)
im looking for the most accurate, lethal round I can find!
Thanks for any advice!

I'm using the 64gr Berger FB Varmint over IMR8208XBR in mine.

I'm shooting the 55 grain Nosler Ballistic Tip over H335. This is an older powder but works well for me. It will be going prairie dogging next spring. Barry
Most 1 in 9's handle up to 69 grain with an uncommon few going a bit more. You won't know what yours will like until you actually try different weights and powders.
50gr V-max : 24 gr Benchmark
55gr V-max : 24.1 gr Benchmark
60gr V-max : 25 gr H-4895
69gr SMK : 24.4 Varget or : 24.5 gr Win-748
I prefer CCI-450 (Small Rifle Magnum) or Federal 205M (Match) primers. Lake City or Winchester brass.
I was looking at Nosler brass; any bad experiences out there?
(I didn't think of "magnum" primers, thought I could only use regular) the Lapuas are out for me. Nobody around here sells them, and they're too expensive anyway lol
