Was he the pet rock guy in the 80's?

I had a great-uncle who made and lost several fortunes in his lifetime -- died a millionaire, though. He once told me, "The secret to becoming a millionaire is to come up with something absolutely no one needs -- but that absolutely everyone thinks they want." I suspect he was right.

Is the link to the latest and greatest version?
The Dunning-Kruger effect is alive and well.
Yes, current link is a working model. The black was PLA, and the red is high strength ABS.
Currently have a model for one with a removable base so you can see the bolt face. But I won't have it printed for another 24 hours. I will put that version up in a min, I know it will print, it is just a little harder due to supports.
I like the ABS one as well. Nice job nightram!

I made one for the axis series too.

Just out of curiousity what printer are you using?
I've been tossing around getting a QIDI tech 1.
An Ultimaker 2+ at the moment. If I had my time again I'd get a felix

As an update. The bolt protector is working fine and still hasn't broken.
For interests sake, it has been downloaded 325 times. Though this doesn't actually prove how many have been made, but one would like assume that it has been made at least 325 times at minimum since it was uploaded.
Happy shooting all!
