find a blank on the shelf and ship it to someone who chambers them.
For those of you who are current on build times for drop in Savage barrels, which maker would be the quickest of the bunch to get a 338-300 RUM / 338 Edge from?
Wanting at least 27" maybe a bit longer threaded for a brake.
find a blank on the shelf and ship it to someone who chambers them.
That's what I did.
McGowan had a heavy fluted 32" on clearance for $240. Had it sent directly to Sinman.
Also bought a $40 brake from Ross Schuler and had it sent directly to Sinman as well.
I think I had it on my rifle in just over 3 weeks or so.
Sinman is quick and does great work.

Ace is that what you use in the snipper challenge (if that is you I read about).
Either way both very nice builds.

Was a 1400 yard shoot, 1000 yard competition, It was Won by Me and Deadeye351 with another .338 Savage built in my barn.
Congratulations, Ace! and to Deadeye351!
Congrats. Ace I guess a few of these guys will start respecting the Savage guys now with more than a few wins behind them.
