i can not find a stock i really like for my model 112 long action 308. i want to build a stock, question is, i was told that the the barrel, barrel nut and front action(in front of first action screw) can be free floating. is this true? the recoil lug and everything in front can be floating?

Worked for me just like the video except: Break the stock free at 4 hours to make sure you have no hangups or you'll be freezing it to break it loose. Than reinsert to dry at 24 hours.
