I asked my question to my very capable gunsmith. The short answer is that the barrel of the 94b is not designed for removal for routine maintenance. He said it is like a rifle barrel that can be removed with the use of special gunsmith tools; e.g., when replacing the barrel. Perhaps a bore snake can be used to clean the barrel, but a more full take - down is required for a more thorough cleaning. The only description on YouTube involves removing the stock followed by removal of the trigger group. I don't know whether the trigger group can be removed without removing the stock.
