I'm looking to purchase a Savage 11 Trophy Hunter .223 accutrigger model for a long term LRP project.
Really just want the action. I'm very new to all this.
What is the action screw spacing on this model? Is this action any different than those on the model 10, 12 or 16?

My 260 is built on a 11TH action.
It shoots quite well.
Newer ones are 4.40.
Main differences are shank size and side or bottom bolt release.
mine is a small shank bottom bolt release.
Aftermarket support is a lot better than it was for bottom bolt release.
It will still limit you from some stocks like an AI.

would that mean aftermarket stocks should fit. As a short action model 12 McMillan or hs precision should fit a short action model 11?
