Nice
I just wanted to check out the TMK's since they have a higher BC than the SMK's
I'm going to run a few through the Magnetospeed, get some DOPE and see what they can do at 600yds.
I shot some 77g TMK @ 800 yards out of CLE AR 15 probably 6"
Load just 23 gr. Reloder 15
800! That's awesome
I assume 1:7 twist?
8 twist
From my notes; 69 gr. TMK, 25.5 to 25.9 gr. Varget, BR-4, WW brass, neck sized only, 3125 fps, groups 1/3 moa and under at 100 yds. Shoot flat as a pancake and very consistent out to 750 yds with my 12BVSS with 8 twist, 26 inch Criterion.
Did you see whats new from hornady eld-m in. .224 die b.c. looks good
If the tips are melting on tmks dont you think they should tell us. Hmmm?
Tips melting.....sounds to me like a bunch of marketing hooey. Isn't the compression wave out in front of the bullet until it slows enough to become transonic?
Anyone else notice Hornaday changed the profile of certain bullets at the same time they changed the tip material? I don't have an optical comparator, but just eyeballing it.
What's that we preach? Change ONE thing at at time and note the results.
