Seems like a decent amount of energy. I just got my first .300 not long ago and haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, as my local DNR range (free) is being renovated and I didn't want to have to both travel, and pay for range time.

Decided to see how some subsonic 300 blackout rounds act in water. I didn't expect it to be this energetic with these slow, no/minimal expansion bullets.
1st is a 100gr LRN, I believe it is a .312 pistol bullet. Sized to .309.
2nd is the Lee 230gr Blackout bullet.
