Think of your 243 with a 6.5mm bullet. I just necked up 75 rounds of 243 to 260 and loaded them with 140gr.bullets and at 200 they are grouping just under.5
Heavier bullet with better long range performance.
I just ran across a sweet deal on a custom 260 rem on a 110 le platform, the problem is i know nothing about the cartridge other than it's another 308 wildcat. I love my .243's and am looking for another one, however this is pretty tempting. Is it any better than my .243 in the 6-800yd range? How about the 100-600yd range? Or maybe you can just point me in the right direction to learn more, thanks. blue

260 all the way there both awesome. Send it off to devin at sinarms and have him cut it to an ai and youll be very pleased and it will rival most out to a 1000. Congrats
I did see that purchase you made....it's beautimus Congrats
Don't know much about the .260 though
Thanks guys, i just couldn't take it anymore. I just tossed and turned all night thinking about that rifle, heck the only reason i bought it was so i could get some sleep! (Well thats what i'll tell the wife, when she finds out.)
I have a lot to learn about .260's, and can't wait to start, i may have to get a real rest instead of my old coffee can/sand bag rest just so i can really see what it will do. So all i can do is sit here and drool until it shows up. blue
