I don't know about the ones you named but the factory brake I had on my 338 win. worked good. It seemed to lower the recoil even with 250 grain loads.
Gonna order a Savage in 300 RUM and was wondering how effective the factory muzzle brake is that is on the law enforcement models. (The permanent one) Looks like it has a good baffle design. How does it compare to a pain killer or Holland Radial? Thank you.

I would be hard pressed. I would compare the cost with the brake to adding an aftermarket brake. There are some real good ones out there at reasonable costs, to me.

I have a Savage 116 in .300 RUM with the Savage factory brake. It works real well. Even with the brake the 300 RUM delivers a thump but it is shootable at the range. Your shooting bench neighbors may not appreciate you. What I like about the Savage brake is that you can twist it on and off. In the field you can turn the brake off.
