Cool!
For every one who has never seen a picture of one of the 45 cal Savage pistols used as a test pistol for the US Army GO TO gunbroker.com
Idem# 571263752 ----there is one for sale----
Cool!
Whenever the legislators endeavor to take away and destroy the property of the people, or to reduce them to slavery under arbitrary power, they put themselves into a state of war with the people, who are thereupon absolved from any further obedience
I'd love to own that (and shoot it!).
I have two of the .32's and enjoy them.
I do, have a few questions for the experts regarding this item on gun broker:
1: The second detail photo shows a bar that is about 1 to 1.5 inches in length. My .32's do not have this part, so I was wondering what it is.
2: The pistol appears to have the mag release at the bottom of the mag well just like the .32's. But there is another latch of some sort on the right side near the top of the grip that looks like it should/could be a mag release. Does anyone know what this additional button/latch is?
I have Browers' book, and it does not appear to list these details.
Thanks for any insight.
I think the bar you are referring to is the grip safety. (bar on the back strap)
