Ace hardware or Lowes should have 'em.......
Just tried installing a 3-screw trigger on my rifle, when I was taking the orginal trigger out, i lost the detention clamp that holds the trigger pin in place. Where do I find a couple of replacements. Its the little "C" shaped clip. and what the heck is the real name for this part. I have been trying to figure it out on Numrich's site for a few minutes and I am really frustrated.
thanks

Ace hardware or Lowes should have 'em.......
S/shot Savage & heavy Pac Nor's rock !! 'JM' Marlin lever gun nut !
I believe the name of it is an "E clip", but not 100% sure.
think it might be this on their site according to the description, but not sure of that either.

AIU is right, just take the pin to any local hardware and find one to fit it.

Thanks guys, a trip to the hardware store is in order... always the easiest thing... why didnt I think of that?

Unless your hardware stores where you live are better than where I live they won't have such an animal. Your best bet will be automotive parts store, farm equipment i.e. John Deere, Case-International, etc. Last resort would be MSC, Graingers or McMaster-Carr. Possible source might be small engine repair shop.
Did you have any luck? If not, i have one that i can put in the mail. Just let me know & it`ll be on its way.
the very techinical term for the clip is a jesus christ clip cause thats what you yell when it pops off MARK25-06
Its an E-ring or E- clip depending on whaere you are from. Napa is a good place to find them or at Checker auto in the help section they usually have an assortment.
I remove mine with a pocket maget and a small pick, saves a lot of swearing.

Northern tool sells a assortment kit, couple hundred different ones of varying sizes, but if you are like me the size you need wouldn't be there.
