Point the scope into the blue sky. Adjust the rear focus until the reticle is crisp and sharp. Then point the rifle at the target. You will not need to mess with the rear focus again. Using the left side parallax adjustment, turn it until the target lines are sharp. You need to do this next part with no part of your body touching the table or rifle until you get accustomed to what you are looking for. Looking through the scope move your head around, left to right up down etc..., the reticle and the point of aim should stay locked in. If you see the crosshairs move around on the target even 1/8th inch it will cause you to be off that much every time potentially.
