I have a burris xtr II 4-20x50 in the box that needs rings but I do not know what height. I have a rifle class but I will not be home until 2 days before the class and wanted to order rings so they are waiting for me when I get home. The specs say the o.d of the scope is 58mm plus there will be covers on the scope. The warne base is a 20moa with pretty much a bull barrel. From my math I came up with around .94 for the ring size so the .92 would probably be too small. How much does the 20degree base mess with the height needed for the rings? Would the 1.0 height rings work or would they hit the barrel? Thanks.

In the first sentence I did write size rings so I guess that was my bad, corrected to height rings. I know the size of the scope so just looking for height info from someone that might have a similar setup with the 20moa.
On my Vortex Razor II 3-18x50 I used .92" rings without a problem on my rifles with 20 MOA bases but I switched to the 1" height for use on my Surgeon action as the base is machined into the receiver and sits lower and bolt on bases. If you wanted to be safe then go with the 1" height rings as there isn't a really big difference in feel.
This is what you seek

Thanks. I went with the 1in height, like Rob01 said it wasnt that much of a difference. Thanks again
