Norm, you probably won't find what you're looking for without having a custom one-off made. PT&G does make different thicknesses of recoil lugs that would have the same effect of moving the nut farther out.
Does anyone know if anyone makes a large shank barrel nut that is slightly longer than factory large shank nuts? I have a large shank barrel a friend made for me and he cut the threads too far down towards the muzzle. Now when i install the action and properly headspace it, the nut does not completely cover the dront few threads.

^ That's what I would do.
Just get a thicker recoil lug. Probably going to be cheaper anyway.
EDIT: Dennis beat me to it.

I considered the lug idea... it would have to be at least .155 inches thicker. Not sure i will find that, either. Also, it needs to be for an Accustock. ( Its not mine)
Call PT&G. Tell them what you need. They should have no problem with your request.

have somebody recut the threads on a small shank not there the same TPI
^ Then it would end up the same length as a large shank nut :-) "

Haha, Yea I didn't think about that.
The Dunning-Kruger effect is alive and well.
Any shop can spit one out a jiffy if you dont mind not being able to use your nut wrench. You could use a spanner hole.

Why don't you just cover the threads with a strip of aluminum tape?
