The 243 is a short action caliber and would probably be fitted in a short action receiver like the model 10
Is a stevens .243 considered as a Short Action Savage ???
If so, which one ? Mod 10 / Mod 110 / Mod 16 / Mod 116 ????
Thanks guys

It isnt considered anything but a Stevens 243, but it's closest Savage counterpart would probably be a model 11f.
Differences are a different color stock, no accutrigger on Stevens, and a duller bluing on the Stevens. All parts are interchangeable between the two except the trigger.

The .243 is just a .308 necked down to accept a 6mm bullet.
