I don't think any, at least I hope not because I didn't lub mine at all.
Installing my new 260 barrel, and not sure what lubes to put on the threads.Any suggestions.

Wd 40 will work or any anti seize grease.
Not necessary unless you might want to replace it someday. Olddav might have trouble down the road if he does. I suppose a good barrel vice, action wrench, nut wrench and a heavy hammer might un-seize anything.
i used anti sieze on mine... just a little bit..
i dont use any lube but then again my barrels are lucky if they see a year of use.
Oops!
I just spit on it.... No lube here either
I use just a little copper spark plug antisieze. But a change barrels more than the average user...
A little anti-seize, gray bottle with the silver/copper mix. Also used on C&B revolver nipples. Even with BP it lasts through several cleanings.
The guy in McGowans vid used Rig. I use just a light film of silver never seize.
Just a little Kroil and Anti- Seize.
I use plain old anti-seize. I don't like the long-term effects of WD-40 sitting on metal, so I don't use it for anything but water displacement after rinsing parts.
why the lude? prevent corrosion and binding? you can smear some high temp grease, anti seize, even some synthetic motor oil smeared on the threaded will work to prevent rust and binding.
