Best of luck for a safe and successful trip.
As the subject states:
Gone Hunting!
I will be chasing deer from 11/30 thru 12/6, or until I fill my tag(s).
I will be checking in every evening sometime after 6-7pm EST to make sure the site is running smoothly, so if
there's a technical issue or the server acts up again I will catch it if Charles doesn't see and fix it first.
Good luck and safe hunting to all my fellow Ohio deer slayers! ~MrFurious

Best of luck for a safe and successful trip.
Day 1: Playing dog with lots of sloppy muddy plowed fields resulted in one whooped MrFurious.
Jumped two real nice bucks out of one woods, but way too far out for me to take a poke at.
Deer = 1 / Jim = 0
Day 2: Foggy and rainy, on stand all day.
Took a 65-70 yard shot at a doe through the brush in the woods but no joy.
Deer = 2 / Jim = 0

Day 3: Sick
Woke up this morning and could barely speak or swallow.
Now I'm seeing the tell tale white spots indicating strep throat so I'll be visiting the doctor rather than hunting tomorrow.
If I'm lucky I might be able to get out Saturday and/or Sunday, but I'm not holding my breath at this point.

On an 8 mile walk of the PHT last Friday I counted 16 deer, but almost all of them were on the WV side of the trail. I only saw two on the Pennsylvania side. Sounds like the weather has changed some since I left.
