i used several different cleaners over the years looking for the best/quickest/easiest....
all wipe out products
GM TEC
sweets
hoppies
bore tech
KG with their big claims
JB bore paste
all slip products...and a few ive probably forgotten about and of those listed the wipe out products worked the best for me but ive since moved on to what i think is the best/fastest/easiest for cleaning a barrel...dont use these in the house LOL...

mercury power tune to remove soot/carbon...recommended by Fred and almost as good as GM top engine cleaner
then a patch of isopropyl alcohol then a dry patch
montana extreme 50BMG copper killer...if this dont remove your copper you have a problem...read and follow the instructions...this stuff is nasty
then 2 patches of isopropyl alcohol then 2 dry patches
slip 2000 extreme weapons lube...i dont think which oil matters much but i use this because it seems to have less cold clean bore POI shifts

i dont know that it matters but ive always ran a patch or two of isopropyl alcohol in between cleaners to neutralize them...ive been told and have read on the labels that different cleaners mixed or used together can cause pitting.
