Yup, definitely rush out and get a lotto ticket!
Completely disassembled one of my gas guns in 223. Thoroughly cleaned the barrel from powder fouling, copper, etc.
Reassembled the rig from barrel to receiver to scope to base. The hole nine yards. Loaded up some 69gr smks with some rl-15. Went to the range, after about 15 rounds down the tube, and zero,d at 100, I was getting 4-5 rounds through the same hole,I couldn't believe it,I chronographd the load for ballistic calculations, as I went to reset my scopes turrets to zero, low and behold, both elevation and windage turrets were already on zero. Wow. What are the odds? ........need to buy a lotto ticket.

Buy 2!! I'll pay you back when we win!
Took those rounds out to distance last sunday. I was able to get a little over 1" patterns at 400yds. Considering it being a gas gun with mixed brass? with a 5-10mph right to left wind?.....heck yeah!
I had that target gas gun up for sale some time ago and boy am I glad it didn't sell.
Loading up some rounds with new brass and all the ying and yang of precision reloading will surely equate to even tighter patterns but the hell with it. Im shooten what I got. Im having too much fun.

Excellent, especially using mixed brass! I've noticed mixed brass doesn't affect the accuracy from my Sig 226 Elite in 40 cal. either.

Oddly enough, I purposely cut the brass short with my
Gracie trimmer while prepping close to 500ish pieces of my 223 brass.
I hate prepping brass especially cutting the brass to length. So I cut it short so I won't have to do cut again for at least 10 uses.
I was worried at 1st but after loading those 69,s and getting the results ?....alls well.
EI, good to read that the gas gun shot well after cleaning and retorquing everything. Some time I'll come visit!
