hmm ... yeah, at 1267 it's kinda pricey for a bottom feeder 300 buck tuperware rifle ...
after breaking in the barrel on wednesday at 50 meters and 50 rounds, i just zero'd it in at 100 yards this morning before heading off to the 200 range and bpcr practice work with the .45-70 rolling block. the axis hb did ok, i didn't do so great. 10 rounds fired, including 2 "my bad" fliers way off the mark, 8 kinda clustered. sierra match king 155's and H4895. the witt brake really helps with keeping the rifle from bouncing and punching when fired, but it's Loud. the recoil feels really light, hafta try it without the kick killer recoil pad. anyhoo, buncha trigger and load recipe work left ....
