If they're saying it's nothing special they've never played with one. Secondly, you can shoulder a barrel with Savage threads the exact same way you shoulder a barrel with Remington threads. Only difference is the thread pattern. People are just so mechanically ignorant they don't understand that it's just a thread pattern.

Reason Ted went with the Savage thread pattern was to provide a larger amount of options to the shooter. You can also swap bolt heads with this action like a Savage. It's the end all be all only need one for the rest of your life!
