does anyone have a powder that performs well in a 7 wsm with 154 hornady sst? tried 2 powders so far and have succeeded in obtaining minute of barn door accuracy. the rifle shoots 1.25 moa with winchester factory loads and so far i havent been able to even come close.

The Dunning-Kruger effect is alive and well.
H4831 shoots great in my 7mm WSM.

RUMs are like woman in Stiletto heals, you know they are going to put you in the poor house, but that has never stopped anyone from pursuing them.
i have some imr 4831...never would have thought on using that one. Thanks for the feedback fellas
H4831 is delivering excellent velocity and accuracy along with single digit SDs. Could probably try for a few more fps but don't see the need.
I'm really liking the way Superformance is working out in my 300 WSM with 165 AccuBond, excellent velocity and tight groups to boot. My WSM is outrunning my 300WinMag with the 165's. Weight/caliber ratio is about the same as your 7/154. If you can get your hands on some, it might be worth your time and effort. Unfortunately I'm using the 190 VLD in mine for bear starting today so the 165 load I developed was a waste of time. If I choose to use it for deer, I just may drop down in weight and use the AB load.
