Your bolt looks great. I was thinking about one too,how is the workmanship on it.
The pic shows the Glades Armory Stainless Steel Tactical Bolt Handle upgrade along with the stock bolt handle. The bolt is out of my long action .300 Winchester Magnum single shot. I was thinking about further upgrading it by installing a PTG or CDI trigger guard so I can use AICS 5 and 10 rd. detachable box magazines. I was wondering if anyone on this forum had done such a conversion?

Darn that thing is long. Does it bind when working it back and forth?
The workmanship is first rate. It is however machined stainless and the factory piece is an investment casting. I now have
it installed and it functions fine, just like the stock handle. I haven't got a chance yet to put some live rounds thru the
rifle.
Thanks Konan.. I just might get one.
Here's the latest. My gunsmith, Connard Spencer, of Spencer's Gunsmithing of Clarkson Kentucky installed the PTG bottom steel [it's actually T6 aluminum] on my Savage 112 along with a Timney trigger. This rifle was made before the Savage AccuTrigger came out. He also pillar and glass bedded it. That's a ten round Accuracy International magazine.
