Called Savage today and explain that I'm have feeding issues (BTVS MK II) with my five round mag.
I explain that I purchased a ten round mag which works great (over 300 plus rounds) and I would pay the cost difference for a ten over the five rounder. Savage said that they would send me another 10 round mag out this week (under warranty) at no additional cost!

Glad everything worked out for you! Savage definitely tries to please there customers a lot more than most companies.

Tuesday this week I phoned Savage and told how my FV SR was failing to extract sometimes. He asked if there was a burr in the chamber and I said I didn't see any. He second-day mailed all three front-end pieces to me when all I asked for was another spring that I planned to install over the first, doubling the tension on the extractor. As it turned out, upon more closely examining the chamber using a jeweler's loupe, there was a burr, which I removed with some 400. Savage CS went the extra mile on my request.
Now, if Savage would only go even half the extra mile for disgruntled B Mag owners....
And jeers to them for taking the parts finder down during their little mini-vacation.
