Savage was kind enough to send me one for free since I had to send the A17 back due to trigger issues
I recently picked up an A17 and have been searching high and low for a full length rail that would allow me to mount my scope farther forward to achieve proper, but more importantly consistent eye relief.
If anyone knows of anything that would work I'm all ears.

Just got the rifle back from savage today and unfortunately the full length rail does not fit, not even close
How much farther forward do you need?

At least 2-3 inches. Let me give u the back story. I went to an Appleseed event and there I was taught to extend my neck as far as I could when making my cheek weld so that I'll develop consistency in how I'm preparing for a shot. This among a few other techniques I learned there dramatically improved my accuracy so I'm a stickler for "go with what works for u". I rarely shoot with bipods anymore so being able to make a consistent cheek weld is important to me.
And if you're wondering I did score rifleman and took to it so much that I joined as a volunteer to be an instructor in training.

EGW makes an extended rail that is 8.6 inches long. I have one that will match the receiver on my 10FP. You may want to look around to see if other manufacturers make something similar that is compatible with your rifle.
I just cannot picture someone extending their cheekweld another 2-3". I've made extended bases for a particular hi-power shooter that needed an additional 1-1/2", but he has a long neck. Just what kind of scope are you using?

Sounds like you need to extend the length of pull.
Your nose would have to be touching the back of the receiver with a choked up hold like that....could you please post a picture of this position?

Well I got the egw rail and it was exactly what I was looking for. I don't have it mounted yet but I can post pics of the setup I have on my Marlin 795
